CENTENNIAL LIVESTOCK AUCTION WEDNESDAY, JULY 16, 2014 SHEEP AND LAMB AUCTION STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTING   Compared to last week: There was no test due to market being closed for two weeks. Trade activity was moderate on moderate buyer demand. In the sheep supply 28% slaughter lambs and 27% feeder lambs, 44% slaughter ewes and bucks with the balance being replacement ewes. Centennial Livestock Auction Ft Collins, CO hay results for June 28, 2014. Tons offered: 1366                                           Last month: 709 The hay market was sharply lower.  There was new hay and old hay sold.  You can easily tell which was new and which was old by the prices.  Keep in mind we had one plus inch of rain on the hay.  It makes a lot of difference in the prices.  There were several dairy and feed lot buyers at this sale.  The cow/calf man is not yet ready [Read more here...]
